How do I care for the marble top on my bathroom vanity?
HOW TO CLEAN AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR MARBLE COUNTER TOP

Marble is an elegant, natural stone rich with beauty with a truly unique look and feel. Marble is a beautiful and durable natural stone. However, it does need certain maintenance to prevent staining or damage.

Do: Blot up spills immediately. Marble is much more sensitive than granite to acidic substances like wine, coffee, fruit juices, tomato sauce, sodas, toiletry products and cleaning products that can etch (dull) the polish (shine) or stain the surface.

Do:Clean surfaces using a microfiber sponge or soft cloth and a stone cleaner/polisher/resealer product The only cleaning agents you should use on a weekly basis is a specially formulated marble cleaner/polisher/sealer that you can apply with a cotton cloth or chamois and find at your local hardware store. Home Depot sells a good product called Stone Specific Marble, Travertine, Limestone & Slate Cleaner/Resealer.

Do: Use coasters or trays under all glasses, bottles, soap dispensers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shaving creams, hair products, perfumes, cosmetics and cans. All these items may etch the polish or damage the surface if left on the marble countertop.

Do: Use a tray for toiletry products in the bathroom. A decorative tray can look very attractive and it will protect the surface from the damaging chemicals contained in many toiletry products.

Do: Prevent sharp edges from scratching the top of the marble.

Do: Seal your marble annually to keep it protected

Don't: Use vinegar, ammonia, cleaning detergents and agents, soaps, lemon or orange for cleaning marble. A sponge with hot water is all you need on a daily basis and a stone cleaner/resealer product weekly.

Don't: Use bathroom, tub & tile or grout cleaners. The powders and even the "soft" creams contain abrasives that will scratch and dull the surface. Don't: Sit or stand on your countertops. Unlike laminate countertops, marble countertops are not flexible and they DO NOT typically have a plywood backing, so too much weight in one spot could cause a crack.

Don't: Place toiletry products directly on your countertop surface. Hair products, toothpaste, perfumes, colognes, nail products, creams, lotions and potions may stain or damage the surface or etch the polish leaving a ring. Protect your countertop by placing these products on a decorative tray like they do in fancy hotels.

Don't: Use glass cleaner above your marble top. Don't clean your mirror with a household cleaner if it's above a natural marble countertop.
Is the marble top on my vanity already sealed?
All of the marble tops on the bathroom vanities we sell have been sealed. However, after extended use, they will have to be resealed.
I don't have a business. Can I still visit your showroom?
Yes, we would love for you to be able to browse the diverse range of bathroom vanities in our showroom. If you find a product you like, we would be happy to connect you with a retailer in your area who sells our vanities so that you can purchase that item.
I am not able to pick up my vanity myself. Can you deliver it to me instead?
We do not provide our own delivery service. However, we do recommend a company called The A-Team. They deliver to anywhere in the GTA. To contact them, please call 416-736-0720 and ask to speak with Chris. You can make arrangements directly with him to pick up your vanity from our warehouse Monday to Friday, any time between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. We have been recommending this company to our clients for over 10 years because they are careful and reliable movers. If you live outside of the GTA, please phone us at 905-564-3358 and we will arrange an alternate way to get your vanities to you.
How long does it take between when I place an order and when I can pick up my vanity?
If the item you ordered is in stock, we typically require about a week's notice before it needs to be picked up. This ensures that our warehouse staff has sufficient time to re-seal the marble and make sure the vanity is in top condition.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Master Card, Interac, Cash and Money Order. Please note that all orders must be paid for in full before they can be picked up or shipped. For more information on our payment policies, please refer to our Terms & Policies page (please scroll down to find the link to this page).
My vanity has been damaged. Can I return it?

We will discuss the situation with you in order to determine whether or not your item can be returned. We may ask you to send us photos of the damage.
